Birthday Girl

My little baby is growing up! The Boss is two today, she is not a baby anymore she is considered a toddler or little girl. That kind of makes me sad! I believe she will still be called the baby around here.

We have been so blessed to have this little girl in our lives. I cant even begin to tell you the things she brings into our home. But one word sums it up pretty well- HAPPINESS. This baby makes all of us so happy:) She is a very loved (spoiled) girl, we cant keep our hands off of her, sometimes there are even fights over her.

Bossy is in the 10th percentile for weight, and 25th for height, a runt like her sister. But she is very healthy and very smart. She is on a three year old level for speech. She loves to sing the ABC's and Twinkle Twinkle little star. She has all of her animals down and does the best horse sound you have ever heard!
She started potty training herself at 19 months which has been awesome! Mom definitely had to do some work but its been so much easier with a child who wants to do it.

This girl is a dancer. She LOVES dancing and music. She always wants music turned on so she can run around and dance. She loved going to Ry's choir and band concerts so she could bounce and clap to the music.
And yes we are so proud (except dad) because she knows the whole Taylor Swift Fearless C.D. It has to be the cutest thing to hear, her little voice in the backseat "begging you please don't gooooooo".
What a great 2 years! I am so excited for this next year and the many things she will learn and say. We love this cute girl....
Happy Happy Birthday Sis.

Preschool Graduation

Preschool graduations are some of the cutest experiences for a parent. These little 3 and four year olds are so proud of themselves and you as a parent are beaming with pride thinking "my kid is so dang cute". They practice for weeks on the songs and walking across the stage, and scream the songs to see who is loudest, and again look so cute in those funny little hats.
Our Punky was so excited and a bit nervous to perform on the stage. And of course that little shorty always gets front and center so there was no hiding behind anyone. But she did great, she yelled her songs, did all the right dance moves, and walked across for her certificate without falling. We were so proud.
Afterwards we watched a cute slideshow of the kids and parents on field trips and had dinner and cake.

We are so proud of this girl! She has done so well and has made some great friends. She is so excited that she will be going back next year for junior kindergarten, she really loved this school.

Oh it's on.....

Man, is it a BLAST when uncle Jordan is around! He and his friend "Chunk" stopped to stay a night at our place as they were passing through to Washington D.C.

Rule at our house: Guy with the longest legs has to sit in the smallest spot in the car. Poor Jordy.

And this 'battle' may have been the best part of our weekend! We took our guests to a metro park to show off our beautiful area. And along the way we ran into this battle going on. These people were serious, they were all dressed up and had weapons and shields. Some were legless and squirming around or crawling to duel, some had lost their arms (holding them behind their backs), And some were just laying there dead. It was hilarious, I think we could have sat there laughing all day.

We skipped rocks for a good hour and only had two of the four girlies fall in- YEAH!

Jordan decided to do monkey bars across the bridge and of course it ended up being a bad idea and he cut himself a few times.

Then we hung out in the meadow for awhile. It was pretty fun. Jordan told the girls they had better start running because he was going to tackle them and they ran. But nobody could EVER out run his long legs. I think at this point he forgot they were 4, 9 and 11 and seriously body slammed them. Good thing they are tough.

Even 'Chunk' had a good time with our punks, he played around and held Punkys hand across the street and and near the water so she did not fall in. It was pretty cute seeing these unmarried, childless boys around the kids.

We cant wait to see them and the rest of our family very soon!

Falls

We were so excited for dad to come home after being in New York for a month on an externship. We needed to get out of the house and have some family time and enjoy the nice weather we have been having. We went to Brandy Wine Falls and hiked around for awhile. Dad taught the girls how to roll down the hill, we picked some dandelions, got a few scrapes, had a mad tween stompin around, but over all had a great time!
